Title: Eye Carumba (HAHAA!)
I used sculptey (?) and acrylic paint for this piece. I chose this because I wanted to try something new and I've only sculpted one other thing before in the past two years. An eyeball is a pretty easy shape to make too, at first I wanted to have a lot of detail in the eye color and the veins in the eye as well as the attached optic nerve. I didn't have small enough brushes to use to put in a lot of detail so I opted for a cartoon-like eyeball. That led to my idea of making the optic nerve really big and chunky and messy. I couldn't decide on doing a light salmon color or a dark purple-red for the nerve so I used the latter.
